At least one death, and 28 people are injured, as roof collapsed during Morbid Angel concert in Belvidere, Illinois. Five people are listed with serious injuries.
The tragedy unfolded about an hour in to the show that started at 7 P.M. A powerful storm ripped the roof with its awning down on to concert goers numbering to 260 people.
Illinois Governor JB Pritzker informed the press that the state administration was: “closely monitoring the roof collapse” at the Apollo Theater.
